Efficient micropropagation of Gerbera jamesonii is essential for large-scale production. Usually, multiplication is accomplished using rhizome cuttings or seeds. Using both direct and indirect tissue culture techniques has resulted in fast multiplication of gerbera cultivars with enhanced agronomic features.
