Cancer‐Associated BCL‐2 Mutants Reveal Mechanisms Towards Venetoclax Resistance
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Venetoclax (VEN) resistance in chronic lymphocytic leukemia arises from diverse BCL2 mutations. We map mechanisms contributing to VEN resistance across common BCL‐2 variants. G101V and D103Y reduce drug binding and increase sequestration of pro‐apoptotic proteins. V156D blocks VEN allosterically.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.NSD2 coordinates the neurogenic‐to‐gliogenic transition in the developing neocortex through H3K36me2‐dependent activation of EGFR–ERK signaling. Loss of NSD2 disrupts astroglial and oligodendroglial development, whereas ERK activation rescues gliogenic defects in vitro and in vivo.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.Hydrogen‐driven iron oxide reduction, water‐iron corrosion, and hydrogen embrittlement of metallic iron share the same Fe‐O‐H chemistry. Advanced Science, EarlyView.In situ mechanical loading of osteoarthritis‐prone murine knee joints reveals that spatial alterations in subchondral plate microarchitecture precede cartilage loss and promote a shift from coordinated epiphyseal strain dissipation in healthy joints to focal subchondral strain concentration in osteoarthritis‐prone joints.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.A ternary Potts machine utilizing NbOx‐based probabilistic trits (p‐trits) is demonstrated for efficient combinatorial optimization. By leveraging the electro‐thermal switching dynamics of NbOx memristors, this architecture generates three‐state stochastic fluctuations.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.Asymmetric single‐atom metal‐nitrogen‐carbon catalysts modulate the non‐radical pathway during peroxymonosulfate (PMS) activation. A fundamental contrast was revealed between diffusible singlet oxygen (1O2) and non‐diffusible electron‐transfer pathways (ETP) in antibiotic resistance gene (ARG) degradation.
