Density estimation for water‐striders (Heteroptera: Gerridae)
Freshwater Biology, 1980SUMMARY. Estimates of relative and absolute abundance in field populations of two Gerris species were compared using regression techniques. Separate equations for each gerrid size class allow prediction of population density from timed‐catch sampling.
