On Continuation of Gevrey Class Solutions of Linear Partial Differential Equations

open access: yes, 1997
We give a sufficient condition for the removability of thin singularities of Gevrey class solutions of linear partial differential equations. In \S 1 we give a sufficient condition for the removability in the case of equations with constant coefficients.

Analyticity and Gevrey-Class Regularity for the Second-Grade Fluid Equations

open access: yes, 2009
We address the global persistence of analyticity and Gevrey-class regularity of solutions to the two and three-dimensional visco-elastic second-grade fluid equations.

Euler Equation and Gevrey Asymptotic Analysis

open access: yes, 2013
Neste trabalho, introduzimos a noção de desenvolvimento assintótico em classes de Gevrey e mostramos como o conceito clássico de convergência de séries de potências pode ser generalizado para englobar o caso em que o raio de convergência é nulo.

A note on Gevrey class regularity for the solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations

open access: yes, 1992
In this note we present results on Gevrey class regularity of the solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations with space periodic boundary conditions. We give a generalization of results of C. Foias and R. Temam (J. Funct. Anal. 87, 359–369, 1988)

Smooth Gevrey normal forms of vector fields near a fixed point

open access: yes, 2013
International audienceWe study germs of smooth vector fields in a neighborhood of a fixed point having an hyperbolic linear part at this point. It is well known that the ''small divisors'' are invisible either for the smooth linearization or normal form ...

Global hypoellipticity and global solvability in Gevrey classes on the n-dimensional torus

open access: yes, 2004
Let P be a linear partial differential operator with coefficients in the Gevrey class Gs(Tn) where Tn is the n-dimensional torus and s⩾1. We prove that if P is s-globally hypoelliptic in Tn then its transposed operator tP is s-globally solvable in Tn ...
