An Emergency Georeferencing Framework for GF-4 Imagery Based on GCP Prediction and Dynamic RPC Refinement [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
GaoFen-4 (GF-4) imagery has very potential in terms of emergency response due to its gazing mode. However, only poor geometric accuracy can be obtained using the rational polynomial coefficient (RPC) parameters provided, making ground control points ...

Accuracy assessment of DSM in mountainous forest areas generated from GF-7 stereo images assisted by ATLAS/ICESat-2

open access: yesISPRS Annals of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences
Abstract. The successful launch of the GaoFen-7 (GF-7) satellite has made it possible to achieve sub-meter-level three-dimensional mapping. However, most current studies focus on accuracy evaluating of GF-7 stereo mapping in bare land, and less on its performance in mountainous forest areas.

A Simplified Laminar Flow Model for the Pultrusion of Glass Fiber/Polyethylene Terephthalate Commingled Yarns

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A simplified thermoplastic pultrusion model is developed to predict thermal fields in glass fiber/polyethylene terephthalate (GF/PET) composites with reduced computational cost. By combining effective material homogenization, validation against literature data, and Gaussian‐process‐based optimization, the study reveals how heating limits, pulling speed,

THE STUDY OF RESIDENTIAL AREAS EXTRACTION BASED ON GF-3 TEXTURE IMAGE SEGMENTATION [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
The study chooses the standard stripe and dual polarization SAR images of GF-3 as the basic data. Residential areas extraction processes and methods based upon GF-3 images texture segmentation are compared and analyzed.

Inverse Identification of Energy‐Dependent Laser Absorptivity in NiTi Laser Powder‐Bed Fusion via Calibrated Melt Pool Simulation

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A combined experimental–computational framework identifies energy‐dependent laser absorptivity for NiTi in laser powder‐bed fusion, applicable to conduction and transition modes. Single‐track experiments and thermofluid smoothed particle hydrodynamics simulations are coupled through inverse analysis of melt pool geometry.

Active Fault Interpretation in the Northern Segment of the Red River Fault Based on Multisource Remote Sensing Data

open access: yesRemote Sensing
High-resolution topographic and geomorphic data are important basic data for the study of active structures. Here, multisource remote sensing data were used to reinterpret the active faults in the northern segment of the Red River Fault (China).

Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

A Genetic Algorithm Approach to Regenerate Image from a Reduce Scaled Image Using Bit Data Count-Figure 7. Basic Methodology [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
As in figure 7 we are storing the extra data which is look like figure 8. Where a 20*20 size image of alphabet ‘A’ data has been stored. When we regenerate image, we are using these data.https://www.edusoft.ro/brain/index.php/brain/article/view/805 ...
