Experimental investigation for GFRP rebar couplers for reinforced concrete
The use of fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) rebars is nowadays becoming popular in reinforced concrete (RC) construction due to their excellent inherent properties such as corrosion resistance, lightweight, and high strength to weight ratio.

Durability Prediction of GFRP Rebar Based on Elastic Modulus Degradation [PDF]
A conventional method to study the durability of Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) rebars is to carry out tensile tests on the corroded GFRP bars.

Static and Flexural Fatigue Behavior of GFRP Pultruded Rebars [PDF]
This paper presents the experimental results of composite rebars based on GFRP manufactured by a pultrusion system. The bending and radial compression strength of rods was determined. The elastic modulus of GFRP rebars is significantly lower than for steel rebars, while the static flexural properties are higher.

Behavior of Structural Concrete Frames with Hybrid Reinforcement under Cyclic Loading
A substantial amount of work was carried out on the use of fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) in reinforcing concrete structural elements, which demonstrated considerable inelasticity or deformity through monotonous and fatigue loads.

Bond Strength Properties of GFRP and CFRP according to Concrete Strength
Reinforced concrete is the most commonly used material in the construction industry. However, one disadvantage of reinforced concrete is that environmental factors cause materials to penetrate the concrete and cause steel bar corrosion.

A NEW APPROACH TO TENSILE TESTING OF GFRP BARS
Tensile testing is a critical procedure for evaluating the mechanical properties of Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) bars, which emerged as an alternative to traditional steel reinforcement in reinforced concrete structures.

Performance of hybrid glass/steel fibre self-compacting concrete beams under static flexural loading [PDF]
In this paper, it is proposed to study the static flexural performance of hybrid (glass and steel) fiber reinforced M30 grade self-compacting concrete (SCC) beams made with glass fiber reinforcement polymer (GFRP) re-bars.

Comparison of Ductility in the Shear Walls Reinforced with GFRP and Steel Rebars [PDF]
In concrete structures in order to reduce the story drift, one of the simple methods are using a shear wall. Due to the fact that the concrete shear wall has a suitable stiffness, it can be limited the displacement of the story as much as the seismic ...
