Facility layout problem: Bibliometric and benchmarking analysis [PDF]
Facility layout problem is related to the location of departments in a facility area, with the aim of determining the most effective configuration. Researches based on different approaches have been published in the last six decades and, to prove the ...

Numerical and approximate analytical results for the frustrated spin-1/2 quantum spin chain
We study the $T=0$ frustrated phase of the $1D$ quantum spin-$\frac 12$ system with nearest-neighbour and next-nearest-neighbour isotropic exchange known as the Majumdar-Ghosh Hamiltonian.

Phases and phase transitions of frustrated hard-core bosons on a triangular ladder
We study hardcore bosons on a triangular ladder at half filling in the presence of a frustrating hopping term and a competing nearest neighbor repulsion $V$ which promotes crystallization. Using the finite-size density-matrix renormalization group method,

Computational Inverse Method for Constructing Spaces of Quantum Models from Wave Functions
Traditional computational methods for studying quantum many-body systems are “forward methods,” which take quantum models, i.e., Hamiltonians, as input and produce ground states as output.

Evaluation of chronic toxicity of Kushta Sammulfar (calx of Arsenic trioxide)
Sammulfar (arsenic trioxide) is a notorious poison and has extensively been studied for its toxicity. It is in use for various purposes for centuries and is used even today as a therapeutic agent in the form of kushta (calx) in traditional systems of ...

Magnetization cusp singularities of frustrated Kondo necklace model
Magnetization processes of frustrated Kondo necklace model are studied by means of a density matrix renormalization group (DMRG) method and an elementary band theory based on a bond-operator formalism.

Microstructural evolution and hardness optimization along the cross‐section of friction stir welded AA6061/AlSi10MgMn joints, for electric vehicle battery housings, were investigated. Postweld aging between 170°C and 220°C enhances hardness uniformity within the nugget zone.

A Majorization-Minimization Approach to Design of Power Transmission Networks
We propose an optimization approach to design cost-effective electrical power transmission networks. That is, we aim to select both the network structure and the line conductances (line sizes) so as to optimize the trade-off between network efficiency ...

Molecular Cross‐Linking of MXenes: Tunable Interfaces and Chemiresistive Sensing
In this study, Ti3C2Tx MXenes are initially functionalized using oleylamine ligands to form stable dispersions in an organic solvent. Subsequently ligand exchange with α,ω‐diaminoalkanes enables cross‐linking, along with precise tuning of interfaces. This structural control translates into tunable charge transport and responsive VOC sensing, showing ...
