PEMANFAATAN SISTEM MICROBIAL FUEL CELL (MFC) SEBAGAI SUMBER ENERGI LISTRIK ALTERNATIF PADA PENGOLAHAN COD DALAM LINDI MENGGUNAKAN TUMBUHAN SENTE (Alocasia macrorrhiza) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
ABSTRAK Lindi merupakan air yang terbentuk dalam timbunan sampah yang melarutkan banyak sekali senyawa yang ada sehingga memiliki kandungan pencemar yang sangat tinggi, khususnya zat organik.

The path to fracture in granular flows: dynamics of contact networks

open access: yes, 2011
Capturing the dynamics of granular flows at intermediate length scales can often be difficult. We propose studying the dynamics of contact networks as a new tool to study fracture at intermediate scales.

Omnipolar Magnetic Field Detection by Superlattice‐Based Hall Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetic‐field‐induced electronic switching is demonstrated in unit‐cell‐engineered La0.7Sr0.3MnO3–BiFeO3 superlattices. Distinct substrate terminations modify magnetic and transport properties. Hall resistance measurements show omnipolar, hysteretic anomalous Hall switching above the Curie temperature, arising from Fe─Mn interfacial exchange, enabling

Granuloma actínico de O'Brien: apresentação clínica exuberante O'Brien's actinic granuloma: an unusually extensive presentation

A Host‐Guest, Zeolite/Organocation Material With Isotropic Zero Thermal Expansion

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The use of selected organic structure directing agents for the hydrothermal synthesis of targeted zeolites exhibiting negative thermal expansion provides a straightforward strategy to obtain a new class of host‐guest, nanostructured, crystalline zero thermal expansion materials made of light and abundant elements.

Vortex states of rapidly rotating dilute Bose-Einstein condensates

open access: yes, 2003
We show that, in the Thomas-Fermi regime, the cores of vortices in rotating dilute Bose-Einstein condensates adjust in radius as the rotation velocity, $\Omega$, grows, thus precluding a phase transition associated with core overlap at high vortex ...

Residual‐Lithium‐to‐LiF Conversion Enables a LiF–Fluorinated Carbon Interphase for Reconstruction‐Resistant Ni‐Rich Cathodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A fluorine‐rich acrylate monomer (PFHEA) was solvent‐free applied to NCM90 and thermally decomposed under Ar to convert residual lithium into LiF and form a pre‐built LiF/fluorinated amorphous carbon (LiF/FC) interphase. The LiF/FC layer suppresses NiO rock‐salt reconstruction and microcrack propagation, lowers interfacial resistance, and improves Li ...

Annular Elastolytic Giant Cell Granuloma: A Rare Case Report

open access: yesIndian Journal of Dermatopathology and Diagnostic Dermatology
Annular elastolytic giant cell granuloma (AEGCG) falls under the category of elastolytic granulomas. The histologic findings of a granulomatous dermatitis with loss of elastic fibres and elastophagocytosis are characteristic of AEGCG. It is a rare lesion

Spectrum of giant cells and its significance on FNAC in breast lesions

open access: yesJournal of Pathology of Nepal, 2017
Fine needle aspiration of breast is being performed from last several years. It is not uncommon to find giant cell on FNAC of breast smears .Giant cells arises from monocyte / macrophage lineage which are capable of fusion to form multinucleated giant ...

Photothermal‐Activated Antibacterial Amyloid‐Polyphenol‐Iron Hydrogels for Synergistic Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We report a thermally triggered supramolecular hydrogel (LTFe) formed by Fe3+ and tannic acid on lysozyme amyloid fibrils. Fe3+ enables rapid gelation and photothermal transduction with an efficiency of 88.56%. The LTFe hydrogel exhibits excellent biocompatibility, potent antibacterial activity against E. coli and S.
