Giant transversal magnetoimpedance and Hall-effect measurements in Co70.4Fe4.6Si15B10
Journal of Applied Physics, 1996We report room-temperature transversal magnetoimpedance (TMI) and Hall-effect measurements performed in ribbons of the zero-magnetostriction soft-ferromagnet Co70.4Fe4.6Si15B10 alloy annealed at 587 K for 15 min at a dc magnetic field of 2 kOe. The annealing showed little effect on the magnetostriction of the samples.

Enhanced giant magnetoimpedance effect in patterned FeNi/FeCo nanostructure
Journal of Applied Physics, 2014Enhanced giant magnetoimpedance effect has been observed in FeNi/FeCo nanostructure. 50 nm thick patterned FeCo micrometer pillar with in-plane uniaxial anisotropy was deposited on the surface of 100 nm isotropous FeNi magnetic film. The diameter of FeCo pillar is controllable.

Temperature-Dependent Giant Magnetoimpedance Effect in Amorphous Soft Magnets
Journal of Electronic Materials, 2014Giant magnetoimpedance (GMI)-based devices offer potential as next-generation low-cost, flexible, ultrasensitive sensors. They can be used in applications that include current sensors, field sensors, stress sensors, and others. Challenging applications involve operation at high temperatures, and therefore studies of GMI temperature dependence and ...

Effect of nanocrystallization on giant magnetoimpedance effect of Fe-based microwires
Intermetallics, 2014abstract We studied giant magnetoimpedance (GMI) effect and magnetic properties of Fe 70.8 Cu 1 Nb 3.1 Si 14.5 B 10.6 and Fe 71.8 Cu 1 Nb 3.1 Si 15 B 9.1 Finemet microwires. We observed that GMI effect and magnetic softness ofglass-coated microwires produced by the TayloreUlitovski technique can be tailored either controllingmagnetoelastic anisotropy ...

Giant magnetoimpedance effect in La0.65Sr0.35MnO3 under low dc magnetic fields
Materials Science and Engineering: B, 2001Abstract In the present work, the giant magnetoimpedance effect has been found in La 0.65 Sr 0.35 MnO 3 . The impedance, resistance and reactance of La 0.65 Sr 0.35 MnO 3 depend sensitively on the ac current frequency and dc magnetic field. The magnetoimpedance ratio ( Z (0)− Z (0.8 kOe))/ Z (0) increases from 0.47% to 2.40% with increasing ac ...

Magnetic Properties and Giant Magnetoimpedance Effect in Nanocrystalline Microwires
2014We studied GMI effect and magnetic properties of Finemet-type FeCuNbSiB microwires. We observed that GMI magnetic field and frequency dependences and magnetic softness of composite microwires produced by the Taylor-Ulitovski technique can be tailored either controlling magnetoelastic anisotropy of as-prepared FeCuNbSiB microwires or controlling their ...

Hall and giant magnetoimpedance effects in the Co70Fe5Si15B10 metallic glass
Journal of Non-Crystalline Solids, 2006Abstract The transversal giant magnetoimpedance and the Hall effects of a high magnetic permeability metallic glass, Co 70 Fe 5 Si 15 B 10 , were measured as a function of the frequency ( f ) and amplitude of ac electrical current ( I ac ). The room temperature data were obtained for 0.01 ⩽ f ⩽ 100 kHz, 0.5 ⩽ I ac ⩽ 45 mA and for applied ...
