Beam spin asymmetry in deeply virtual $\pi$ production
An interpretation of the beam spin azimuthal asymmetries measured at JLAB in deep exclusive electroproduction of charged and neutral pions is presented. The model combines a Regge pole approach with the effect of nucleon resonances.

Flanged major modular assembly jig [PDF]
Weldless methods and means are described for securing flanges to the projecting ends of an unmachined box beam framework in such a manner that the flanged structure may be reused without modification. And one framework may be readily assembled to another

Abstract Census data are foundational to democracy, research and equitable urban policy. In addition to supporting political reapportionment and redistricting, census data serve as the backbone of the federal statistical data system and are often considered the highest quality data—the ‘gold standard'—for scholarly and policy research.

A tutorial on Bayesian model averaging for exponential random graph models
Abstract The use of exponential random graph models (ERGMs) is becoming prevalent in psychology due to their ability to explain and predict the formation of edges between vertices in a network. Valid inference with ERGMs requires correctly specifying endogenous and exogenous effects as network statistics, guided by theory, to represent the network ...

Marine Carbonates in the Mantle Source of Oceanic Basalts: Pb Isotopic Constraints
For almost fifty years, geochemists have been interpreting the clues from Pb isotopic ratios concerning mantle composition and evolution separately. The Pb isotopes of ocean island basalts (OIB) indicate that their mantle source is heterogeneous, most ...
