Biodegradable Elastomers: Where Is the Solution?
This perspective explores the scientific and translational challenges in developing biodegradable elastomers as sustainable alternatives to traditional rubbers. It highlights polysaccharide‐based architectures, dynamic covalent and supramolecular chemistries, and the trade‐offs between durability and degradation. Emphasis is placed on aligning material

Effect of NaOH Steam on Swelling and Cleaning of Food Soil Layers
The effects of steam and NaOH steam, in comparison with water and sodium hydroxide, on the swelling behavior and removal forces of three food‐based soils were investigated. Comparative cleaning experiments were performed using these food soils after pre‐swelling with NaOH steam, steam, NaOH, or water.

Density, viscosity, and stability of products from combinations of visbreaking and deasphalting
Abstract Transporting bitumen through pipelines in Western Canada is cost intensive because the oil has to be diluted with light solvents to meet pipeline specifications. The diluent requirement can be reduced by visbreaking (VIS) and solvent deasphalting (SDA), each of which decrease the viscosity and density of the oil.

Classifying the Natural Tooth Color Spaces of Different Ethnic Groups
ABSTRACT This study aimed to classify the natural tooth color spaces of various ethnic groups and assess the coverage error (CE) of the Vita 3D‐Master shade guide. A sample of 490 volunteers from five ethnic backgrounds participated, with inclusion criteria set for adults aged 20– to 45 with healthy, correctly aligned natural teeth free of restorations.
