Non-Destructive Laser Nanopatterning of Superconducting Heterostructures in Topological Sn Thin Films. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Mater
We demonstrate successful fabrication of high‐quality α‐Sn/β‐Sn planar nanostructures with arbitrary shapes by focused laser irradiation on topological Dirac semimetal α‐Sn thin films. The irradiated regions transform into atomically smooth, superconducting β‐Sn with a critical temperature of 3.7 K.

Reliability of the Ginzburg–Landau Theory in the BCS-BEC Crossover by Including Gaussian Fluctuations for 3D Attractive Fermions

open access: yesCondensed Matter, 2021
We calculate the parameters of the Ginzburg–Landau (GL) equation of a three-dimensional attractive Fermi gas around the superfluid critical temperature.

Solving Nonlinear Fractional Models in Superconductivity Using the q-Homotopy Analysis Transform Method

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2023
The Ginzburg–Landau (GL) equation and the Ginzburg–Landau couple system are important models in the study of superconductivity and superfluidity. This study describes the q-homotopy analysis transform method (q-HATM) as a powerful technique for solving ...

Asymptotic behavior of random coupled Ginzburg–Landau equation driven by colored noise on unbounded domains

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2021
In this paper, a random coupled Ginzburg–Landau equation driven by colored noise on unbounded domains is considered, in which the nonlinear term satisfies a local Lipschitz condition.

Ginzburg-Landau effective action for a fluctuating holographic superconductor

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
Under holographic prescription for Schwinger-Keldysh closed time contour for non-equilibrium system, we consider fluctuation effect of the order parameter in a holographic superconductor model.

Investigation on Ginzburg-Landau equation via a tested approach to benchmark stochastic Davis-Skodje system

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal, 2021
We propose new numerical methods with adding a modified ordinary differential equation solver to the Milstein methods for solution of stiff stochastic systems.

Instability of Ginzburg-Landau Vortices on Manifolds [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
We investigate two settings of Ginzburg-Landau posed on a manifold where vortices are unstable. The first is an instability result for critical points with vortices of the Ginzburg-Landau energy posed on a simply connected, compact, closed 2-manifold ...

Small Landau-Ginzburg theories

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We classify (0,2) Landau-Ginzburg theories that can flow to compact IR fixed points with equal left and right central charges strictly bounded by 3. Our result is a (0,2) generalization of the ADE classification of (2,2) Landau-Ginzburg theories that ...

Ginzburg-Landau Approach to Holographic Superconductivity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We construct a family of minimal phenomenological models for holographic superconductors in d=4+1 AdS spacetime and study the effect of scalar and gauge field fluctuations. By making a Ginzburg-Landau interpretation of the dual field theory, we determine

On the Analyticity for the Generalized Quadratic Derivative Complex Ginzburg-Landau Equation

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
We study the analytic property of the (generalized) quadratic derivative Ginzburg-Landau equation (1/2⩽α⩽1) in any spatial dimension n⩾1 with rough initial data.
