Quinic Acid and Synthetic Derivatives in Medicinal Chemistry
Quinic acid and its derivatives are gaining recognition as versatile scaffolds in drug discovery. This review explores their emerging roles in inflammation, infection, cancer, and metabolic disorders, highlighting recent advances that position them beyond chlorogenic acids as promising platforms for therapeutic innovation. Quinic acid (QA) is a natural

A divergent halogen‐promoted intramolecular sulfenylation of dienamines enables access to two unprecedented families of benzo[4,5]imidazo[2,1‐b]thiazole. The resulting scaffolds feature distinct chiral elements, either a quaternary stereocenter in the case of spirolactones, or a stereogenic axis for heteroaryl‐alkenes, with high configurational ...

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to compare the adaptive responses to repeated sprint training in heat (RSHT) on exercise performance under temperate conditions between males and females. Active males and females completed 7 weeks of repeated sprint training twice a week in temperate (CON, 20°C, 55% relative humidity (RH), males: n = 12, females: n =
