Nonlinear Gyrokinetic Simulation of the Magnetosphere‐Ionosphere Feedback Coupling

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 8, 28 April 2026.
Abstract A nonlinear gyrokinetic simulation is applied to the magnetosphere‐ionosphere (M‐I) coupling system to investigate spontaneous growth of auroral structures and electron acceleration self‐consistently. Perturbations of electron density, potential and field‐aligned current in the auroral ionosphere develop through the feedback instability ...

Cover Feature: Enzyme‐Powered DNA Origami Nanostructures for Enhanced Mucosal Diffusion (Small Struct. 4/2026)

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 7, Issue 4, April 2026.
DNA Origami Nanostructures The comic‐style cover illustrates how different enzymes, such as catalase and urease, and their spatial arrangement, whether symmetrically or asymmetrically distributed, modulate and enhance the mucosal diffusion of DNA origami nanostructures.

Enzyme‐Powered DNA Origami Nanostructures for Enhanced Mucosal Diffusion

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2026.
Single‐particle tracking reveals how DNA origami navigates mucus. Bare structures show limited diffusion, while enzyme‐functionalized nanostructures exhibit enhanced mobility. Symmetrically arranged urease creates uniform pH gradients for smooth propulsion, whereas asymmetrically placed catalase drives bubble‐mediated motion.

Overcoming Shame to Vocalise During Childbirth: A Qualitative Interview Study

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Nursing, Volume 82, Issue 3, Page 2345-2356, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Aim To explore women's experiences of vocalisation during childbirth and the interplay with their feelings of shame. Design This interpretive, qualitative study is grounded in a social constructionist theory of gender, which provides a lens for examining the role of vocal toning in childbirth.
