Tumor‐Intrinsic Forkhead Box A2 Regulates the Lymph Node Metastasis of Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma by Regulating T‐Cell Apoptosis

We identified FOXA2 as a key regulator of lymph node metastasis in thyroid cancer, which controls cancer cell aggressiveness. Inhibition of ferroptosis by microbiota‐derived lithocholic acid underlies the intestinal radioprotection of a host defensin‐derived oligopeptide

AT9(C/G), an oligopeptide derived from human defensin 5, enriches Bifidobacterium pseudolongum and increases lithocholic acid (LCA) levels in the intestine. Reduced levels of LCA link to increased severity of ionizing radiation‐induced intestinal injury (IRIII) in both murine and clinical studies.
