InSAR observations of ice elevation and velocity fluctuations at the Flade Isblink ice cap, eastern North Greenland [PDF]
The 8500 km(2) Flade Isblink ice cap (FIIC) (81 degrees 15'N, 15 degrees 0'W) is the largest ice cap in Greenland. We use repeat-pass interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) techniques to investigate the form and flow of the FIIC.

This work developed a smart Janus wood membrane integrating asymmetric wettability with built‐in electrical sensing for oil‐water separation. The membrane achieved > 99.5% separation efficiency and high flux by leveraging wood's natural anisotropic pore structure.

The subglacial hydrology of tidewater glaciers is a key but poorly understood component of the complex ice-ocean system, which affects sea level rise. As it is extremely difficult to access the interior of a glacier, our knowledge relies mostly on the ...

A robust plant protein adhesive was prepared by fabricating a bi‐continuous organic–inorganic hybrid structure. Compared with traditional organic–inorganic hybrid adhesives, the addition amount of inorganic phase is increased from 0.2%–3.0% to 50%, and the strength and toughness are increased by 6 and 121 times, respectively.

Multi-decadal basal slip enhancement at Saskatchewan Glacier, Canadian Rocky Mountains
Glacier motion responds dynamically to changing meltwater inputs, but the multi-decadal response of basal sliding to climate remains poorly constrained due to its sensitivity across multiple timescales.

Assessing ice-cliff backwasting and its contribution to total ablation of debris-covered Miage glacier, Mont Blanc massif, Italy [PDF]
Continuous surface debris cover strongly reduces the ablation of glaciers, but high melt rates may occur at ice cliffs that are too steep to hold debris.

We develop a covalent organic framework‐loaded Traditional Chinese Medicine monomer nanodrug delivery system (ISL@bCOF) via boron‐oxygen bonds, a smart response to glucose for delivering AI‐driven isoliquiritigenin (ISL) targeting ZBP1. This dynamic release mechanism, combined with transdermal delivery technology via potent microneedles, can modulate ...

Origin and dynamic significance of longitudinal structures ("flow stripes") in the Antarctic Ice Sheet [PDF]
Longitudinal ice-surface structures in the Antarctic Ice Sheet can be traced continuously down-ice for distances of up to 1200 km. A map of the distribution of ~ 3600 of these features, compiled from satellite images, shows that they mirror the location ...
