Configuration‐Encoded Cell Alignment by Light‐Gated Silicon Photovoltaic Microcell Arrays

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Light‐gated silicon photovoltaic microcells convert pulsed illumination into localized electrical cues. Arranging otherwise similar microcells into four‐lobed, six‐lobed, or circular patterns directs fibroblasts into corresponding local arrangements without wired stimulation.

Critical Coupling in Semi‐Trasparent Fano Resonators for Photothermal Converters

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An ultrathin metal–insulator multilayer architecture is engineered to exploit Fano‐resonant critical coupling, completely suppressing optical reflectance while achieving a balanced 50:50 trade‐off between absorbance and transmittance. Upon laser excitation at resonance, the metamaterial generates intense localized heat (ΔT≈550∘C$\Delta T {\approx }550^\

Soret effect in binary glass-forming oxide melts: Theory and its verification

open access: yesSoret effect in binary glass-forming oxide melts: Theory and its verification
Soret effect is temperature-gradient-driven mass diffusion in a multicomponent system. This paper reviews the recent progress of understanding the Soret effect in glass-forming oxide melts. A new model, called adjusted Kempers model, is proposed to quantitatively predict Soret coefficients in binary glass-forming oxide melts.

In Situ Interfacial Assembly of Dynamic Semi‐Interpenetrating Biopolymer Networks for Robust and Mechanically Adaptive Droplet Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A dynamic interfacial semi‐interpenetrating polymer network is constructed by sequential assembly of β‐sheet‐rich SF and CS‐RL. The SF framework provides mechanical strength, while dynamically associated CS‐RL enables local rearrangement, allowing droplets to rapidly reconfigure without loss of interfacial integrity.
