Meta‐Virtuality: Strategies of Disembeddedness in Virtual Interiorities

open access: yesJournal of Interior Design, EarlyView., 2022
ABSTRACT To reclaim their seat in the rapidly growing market of virtual space, designers of the built environment can benefit from reevaluating theories that see the virtual as a mere extension/reflection of the physical. By claiming ontological autonomy from external worlds, the virtual is liberated from the hegemonic control of the physical.

On the Interaction of the Photovoltaic Response With Ferroelectric and Magnetic Domains: Magnetoelectric Control of the Photovoltaic Response in BiFeO3 Thin Films. [PDF]

open access: yesSmall Methods
This study demonstrates tunable photovoltaic responses in pure, polycrystalline BiFeO3 thin films, controlled by external electric and magnetic fields. By aligning ferroelectric domains and leveraging magnetoelectric coupling, the photogeneration is amplified up to seven times.

Polycationic Peptides That Bind T-Box Riboswitch Antiterminator RNA and Inhibit Riboswitch Function. [PDF]

open access: yesChem Biol Drug Des
Polycationic decapeptides inhibit T‐box riboswitch tRNA‐induced transcription readthrough. ABSTRACT Resistance to antibiotic treatments continues to be a significant health challenge and necessitates investigating novel antibacterial targets including noncoding regulatory RNA.

The THESEUS Space Mission and the Infrared Telescope Calibration Unit

open access: yesAstronomische Nachrichten, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The Transient High‐Energy Sky and Early Universe Surveyor (THESEUS) is an ESA M7 mission concept currently in Phase A, designed to exploit gamma‐ray bursts to probe the early Universe while advancing multi‐messenger and time‐domain astrophysics. To achieve its ambitious goals, THESEUS will combine wide‐band x‐ray and gamma‐ray monitors with an

Feasibility Study for Application of Digitized Henize Mt. Wilson Michigan Southern Sky Hα$$ \boldsymbol{\alpha} $$ Survey Low‐Dispersive Spectral Plates for Searches for Anomalous and Highly Redshifted Objects

open access: yesAstronomische Nachrichten, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The goal of this study is to confirm the feasibility of the use of digitized low dispersive MtWilson Michigan Southern Sky Hα$$ \alpha $$ survey astronomical photographic plates for modern astrophysical research. The detection of highly redshifted objects, such as early galaxies and quasars, is fundamental to understanding the universe's ...

The DNA/RNA autophagy protein SIDT2 as a novel neuropathological hallmark in Huntington disease

open access: yesBrain Pathology, EarlyView.
SIDT2‐immunoreactive inclusions are observed in the striatum, cerebral cortex, and hypothalamus in HD cases with different Vonsattel grades, and the frequency of SIDT2‐immunoreactive inclusions is associated with longer CAG repeats in the huntingtin gene.

Story2Board: A Training‐Free Approach for Expressive Visual Storytelling

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract We present Story2Board, a training‐free framework for expressive storyboard generation from natural language. Existing methods narrowly focus on subject identity, overlooking key aspects of visual storytelling such as spatial composition, background evolution, and narrative pacing.

CONNECTIVITY AND CHANGE: GLAZED POTTERY NETWORKS IN THE MEDIEVAL EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN (ELEVENTH–FOURTEENTH CENTURIES AD)

open access: yesOxford Journal of Archaeology, EarlyView.
Summary This paper investigates the economic and political transformations of the Medieval Eastern Mediterranean (late eleventh to mid‐fourteenth centuries AD) through the lens of material culture and Social Network Analysis (SNA). Using the distribution of seven types of glazed pottery as archaeological indicators, the study examines changing patterns

Substrate Stiffness and Viscoelasticity Influence Fibroblast Senescence

open access: yesJournal of Biomedical Materials Research Part A, Volume 114, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Senescent cell accumulation has been implicated in aging and fibrotic disease, which are both characterized by increased tissue stiffness. However, the direct connection between tissue mechanics and senescence induction remains disputed in the literature.
