Sol–gel synthesis and characterization of barium (magnesium) aluminosilicate glass sealants for solid oxide fuel cells [PDF]
Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) correspond to efficient energy conversion systems coupled with low emissions of pollutants. In the aim to fabricate high temperature planar SOFC, glass and glass-ceramic sealants are developed to associate several criteria ...

Hot isostatic pressing of ceramics [PDF]
A mixture containing glass 70 to 95 and BN or B4C powder (0.1-10 microns) 5 to 30 vol. % is used as a secondary pressure medium in hot isostatic pressing of ceramics. Thus, Pyrex beads were mixed with 15% vol.

The stickiness curves of dairy powder : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Technology in Bioprocess Engineering at Massey University [PDF]
Powder stickiness problems encountered during spray drying are important to the dairy industry. Instantaneous stickiness is a surface phenomena that is caused by exceeding the glass transition temperature of the amorphous sugar in the powder, usually ...

This work demonstrates the successful integration of a phenanthroline‐based 2D COF with MnI catalytic sites into a catholyte‐free membrane‐electrode‐assembly cell for CO2 electroreduction. The crystalline COF actively suppresses Mn⁰–Mn⁰ dimerization, achieving a turnover frequency of 617 h⁻¹ at 2.8 V (full‐cell potential), and enabling stable operation.

Characterising stickiness of dairy powders : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Technology in Bioprocess Engineering, Massey University [PDF]
The stickiness phenomenon, one of the major operational problems, in the spray drying process is strongly related to changes in the powder particle surface.

MXene dervied CoFe composites show increased initial Oxygen Evolution Reaction (OER) activity compared to the pure CoFe and MXene in an Anion Exchange Membrane device. Vanadium vacancies in the MXene plays a role in increased OER activity and hinders Fe leaching in the AEM device over using the pure V2C MXene as a support material for the CoFe ...

Sintering of low-melting glass powders and glass-abrasive composites
Sintering of glass powders in Na2O-B2O3-SiO2 and PbO-ZnO-B2O3-SiO2 systems as well as of their mixtures has been studied. The process of sintering is shown to change because of crystallization of the glass of the PbO-ZnO-B2O3-SiO2 system. Addition of diamond or cubic boron nitride to glass powders affects shrinkage in sintering composites. Sintering of

Hollow poly(heptazine imide) spheres are prepared through a novel approach that integrates hard templating with ionothermal synthesis. This method enables precise control over surface area, pore volume, hydrophilicity, light absorption, band position, and metal composition. These tunable properties facilitate the customized design of semiconductors for
