Use of Waste Glass as A Replacement for Raw Materials in Mortars with a Lower Environmental Impact
Glass waste used in mortars or concretes behaves similar to cement, with resulting environmental benefits. In this light, the behavior of glass powder of various particle sizes has been analyzed as a cement replacement in mortars, in an attempt to ...

Valorization of glass waste into glass powder in the manufacture of concrete
Introduction/purpose: The valorization of waste in civil engineering is an essential practice due to its environmental and economic benefits. In many countries, various waste materials are incorporated into construction, particularly in cement and concrete, in the form of powders, fibers, or aggregates.

Chitin‐Derived Carbon‐Metal Functional Materials
Functional carbon materials are synthesized from combination of biopolymer (chitin) and iron precursors. The resultant material exhibits superior surface area and adsorptive properties compared to carbon materials synthesized directly from pure chitin.

Fullerene‐Mediated Iodine Immobilization at Buried Interfaces in Sn–Pb Perovskite Solar Cells
Indene‐C60 bisadduct (ICBA) accumulates at the buried interface of inverted tin‐lead perovskite solar cells, limiting undesired electron extraction while maintaining efficient hole transport. ICBA simultaneously scavenges molecular iodine, mitigating Sn2+ oxidation and interfacial recombination. This coupled electronic‐chemical regulation delivers 22.7%

We present a scalable EC/TC hybrid smart window using a DCPE that enables tunable solar modulation (ΔTsol:15–43%), fast electrochromic switching (<90 s), and strong thermal blocking (10–14°C reduction). HPMC improves thermal stability, while an optimized ISL enhances EC performance.

Investigation of the Conditions for the Formation of Glass Powder by Melting Powder Ash
Huge amount of ash is generated from industrial wastes. In order to recycle this, the production of glass powder from ash is very useful because the use of glass powder as filler for concrete improves its properties. The purpose of this study is to clarify the formation mechanism of glass powder from powder ash and to obtain an optimum condition for ...
