Silver–Alloy Powder and Glass Ionomer Cement

The Journal of the American Dental Association, 1990
This article examines some physical property improvements made when a spherical silver alloy powder is added to a hydrous, restorative (type II) glass ionomer cement. When this first metal-reinforced glass ionomer cement is handmixed thickly and quickly, physical properties and clinical handling are improved.

Synthesis of glass nanocomposite powders

2020
The aim of the present study was to synthesize CaO·GeO2 nanocomposite poweders glasses. The sample were prepared to 1450°C°. To investigate the structure of the samples, Differential Thermal Analysis (DSC), X-ray diffraction and Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy were used. The main crystallising phase was found to be CaGe205 crystals.
