Factorization Violation and Scale Invariance
Factorization violating effects in hadron scattering are due mainly to spectator-spectator interactions. While it is known that these interactions cancel in inclusive cross sections, like for the Drell-Yan process, not much is known about for what ...

Fully Quantum Perturbative Description of Correlated Stokes–Anti‐Stokes Scattering
The generation of Stokes‐anti‐Stokes (SaS) photon pairs with quantum correlations, like entanglement, has been developing recently, but a proper theoretical ground was missing. A fully quantum perturbative theory is provided to describe the four‐wave mixing contribution to the correlated SaS scattering, in which both matter and electromagnetic field ...

Scaling violation and shadowing corrections at HERA [PDF]
We study the value of shadowing corrections (SC) in HERA kinematic region in Glauber - Mueller approach. Since the Glauber - Mueller approach was proven in perturbative QCD in the double logarithmic approximation (DLA), we develop the DLA approach for ...

Task co‐use and product improvement: An organization design perspective
Abstract Research Summary Co‐using tasks—using the same task to produce more than one product—promises economies of scope. However, task co‐use also ties products together, changing a firm's task network by introducing cross‐product interdependencies. In light of these interdependencies, we identify an unrecognized downside of task co‐use for product ...

Aging and fluctuation-dissipation ratio in a nonequilibrium $q$-state lattice model
A generalized version of the nonequilibrium linear Glauber model with $q$ states in $d$ dimensions is introduced and analyzed. The model is fully symmetric, its dynamics being invariant under all permutations of the $q$ states.

ABSTRACT China's diversified agricultural policies have effectively improved both the yield and environmental performance of the crop sector. Quantifying productivity trends and their drivers is key to formulating strategies for high‐quality and low‐carbon crop development.

We deal with the two following classes of equilibrium stochastic dynamics of infinite particle systems in continuum: hopping particles (also called Kawasaki dynamics), i.e., a dynamics where each particle randomly hops over the space, and birth-and-death

Discovering qualitative empirical laws [PDF]
In this paper we describe GLAUBER, an AI system that models the scientific discovery of qualitative empirical laws. We have tested the system on data from the history of early chemistry, and it has rediscovered such concepts as acids, alkalis, and salts,

A general formalism of the Glauber theory for elementary atom (EA) - target atom (TA) scattering is developed. A second-order approximation of its complete version is considered in the framework of the optical-model perturbative approach.
