Drugs for Open-Angle Glaucoma

The Effect of Clofibrate on Open-Angle Glaucoma

After baseline tensions and tonography, clofibrate (Atromid-S), 500 mg four times a day, was added to the usual glaucoma therapy of 11 patients with open angle glaucoma. Intraocular pressures and coefficients of outflow were done after one week, two weeks, and one month of therapy, and were compared with the baseline values. No significant alterations
