Timing Results of 22 yr for PSR J0922+0638

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
We conducted a timing analysis of PSR J0922+0638 (B0919+06) using data from the Nanshan 26 m radio telescope and the MeerKAT telescope, spanning from 2001 January to 2023 March. During this 22 yr period, we discovered a previously unreported small glitch

Cyclical Changes in the Timing Residuals from the Pulsar B0919+06

open access: yes, 2010
We report the detection of a large glitch in the pulsar B0919+06 (J0922+0638). The glitch occurred in 2009 November 5 (MJD 55140) and was characterized by a fractional increase in the rotation frequency of Deltanu/nu=1.3x10^{-6}.

On the glitch evolution of pulsars [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the International Astronomical Union, 2012
AbstractObservation of pulsar glitches remains a powerful tool for studying the interior of neutron stars. Many of the observed glitch properties are shown to result from the evolution of glitches in the different manifestations of neutron stars. Specifically, the type of glitches associated with the Crab and Vela pulsars are explained by this model ...

NEURAL NETWORK AIDED GLITCH-BURST DISCRIMINATION AND GLITCH CLASSIFICATION [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics C, 2013
We investigate the potential of neural-network based classifiers for discriminating gravitational wave bursts (GWBs) of a given canonical family (e.g. core-collapse supernova waveforms) from typical transient instrumental artifacts (glitches), in the data of a single detector. The further classification of glitches into typical sets is explored.

Listening to young children with disabilities: Experiences of quality in mainstream primary education

open access: yesBritish Educational Research Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract All children should have access to quality education through a child‐centred pedagogy. An inclusive, child‐centred pedagogy uses a strength‐based view of children that recognises each child as unique and competent, providing children with multiple opportunities to explore and learn at their own pace.
