NEURAL NETWORK AIDED GLITCH-BURST DISCRIMINATION AND GLITCH CLASSIFICATION [PDF]
We investigate the potential of neural-network based classifiers for discriminating gravitational wave bursts (GWBs) of a given canonical family (e.g. core-collapse supernova waveforms) from typical transient instrumental artifacts (glitches), in the data of a single detector. The further classification of glitches into typical sets is explored.

Collision-Induced Glitch/Anti-Glitches
We suggest that the collision of a small solid body with a pulsar can lead to an observable glitch/anti-glitch. The glitch amplitude depends on the mass of the small body and the impact parameter as well. In the collision, a considerable amount of potential energy will be released either in the form of a short hard X-ray burst or as a relatively long ...

ANTI-GLITCHES WITHIN THE STANDARD SCENARIO OF PULSAR GLITCHES [PDF]
Recent observation of a sudden spin down, occurring on a timescale not exceeding two weeks, of the magnetar 1E2259+586 (see Archibald et al. 2013, where this event was dubbed an `anti-glitch') has not still received any interpretation in terms of the standard scenario of pulsar glitches proposed by Anderson and Itoh (1975).

Measurement of the PMSM Current with a Current Transducer with DSP and FPGA
In the present work, two approaches for the phase current measurement of a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) were compared. The measured phase current was distorted by glitches, and a software method to eliminate these glitches was necessary.

Breakdowns, (Un-)Sichtbarkeiten und glitches. Kritische Geographien der Resilienz digitaler Infrastrukturen [PDF]
This paper draws on current discussions in digital geography that emphasize the political and theoretical role of glitches. While we sympathize with the basic assumptions of this discussion and also find it helpful to connect these to older discussions ...

Strange Reality: On Glitches and Uncanny Play
Videogames have had to struggle with balancing the requirements of 'good' gameplay with a drive toward increasing graphical and narrative realism, spurred on by constantly improving technologies of simulation and computer graphics. Despite these advances

Effects of phase transition induced density fluctuations on pulsar dynamics
We show that density fluctuations during phase transitions in pulsar cores may have non-trivial effects on pulsar timings, and may also possibly account for glitches and anti-glitches.

Real‐Time 3D Ultrasound Imaging with an Ultra‐Sparse, Low Power Architecture
This article presents a novel, ultra‐sparse ultrasound architecture that paves the way for wearable real‐time 3D imaging. By integrating a unique convolutional array with chirped data acquisition, the system achieves high‐resolution volumetric scans at a fraction of the power and hardware complexity.
