Global attractor in competitive Lotka–Volterra systems [PDF]
AbstractFor autonomous Lotka–Volterra systems of differential equations modelling the dynamics of n competing species, new criteria are established for the existence of a single point global attractor. Under the conditions of these criteria, some of the species will survive and stabilise at a steady state whereas the others, if any, will die out ...

Asymptotic behavior of a delay predator-prey system with stage structure and variable coefficients
In this paper, we establish a global attractor for a Lotka-Volterra type reaction-diffusion predator-prey model with stage structure for the predator, delay due to maturity and variable coefficients.

Time-Dependent Global Attractor for a Class of Nonclassical Parabolic Equations
Based on the recent theory of time-dependent global attractors in the works of Conti et al. (2013) and di Plinio et al. (2011), we prove the existence of time-dependent global attractors as well as the regularity of the time-dependent global attractor ...

Global dynamics of a fourth-order parabolic equation describing crystal surface growth
In this paper, we study the global dynamics for the solution semiflow of a fourth-order parabolic equation describing crystal surface growth. We show that the equation has a global attractor in H4per(Ω) when the initial value belongs to H1per(Ω).

Changes in Immune‐Inflammation Status and Acute Ischemic Stroke Prognosis in Prospective Cohort
ABSTRACT Background Inflammation is a critical risk factor for poor outcomes in cerebral infarction. Prior studies focused primarily on baseline inflammation status, neglecting dynamic longitudinal changes. We try to investigate the association between immune‐inflammation status alterations and stroke prognosis, and evaluated three systemic biomarkers'

Global Attractors for a Semilinear Hyperbolic Equation in Viscoelasticity
A semilinear partial differential equation of hyperbolic type with a convolution term describing simple viscoelastic materials with fading memory is considered. Regarding the past history (memory) of the displacement as a new variable, the equation is transformed into a dynamical system in a suitable Hilbert space.

The McCance Brain Care Score and Mortality: Evidence From a Large‐Scale Population‐Based Cohort
ABSTRACT Objectives This study aimed to examine the relationship between the McCance Brain Care Score (BCS) and mortality in the general population. Methods We conducted a prospective, population‐based cohort study using data from the UK Biobank. Participants with complete data enabling calculation of BCS and full mortality information were included ...

Refractory Status Epilepticus Treated With Bilateral Pulvinar Deep Brain Stimulation—A Case Study
ABSTRACT New‐onset refractory status epilepticus (NORSE) arises without an identifiable cause or prior epilepsy history, with a 16%–27% mortality rate and significant long‐term neurological sequelae. Neuromodulation such as deep brain stimulation (DBS) targeting the anterior and centromedian thalamic nuclei has shown promise when the traditional ...
