On a computer-aided approach to the computation of Abelian integrals [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
An accurate method to compute enclosures of Abelian integrals is developed. This allows for an accurate description of the phase portraits of planar polynomial systems that are perturbations of Hamiltonian systems.

Paths of Friedmann-Robertson-Walker brane models

open access: yes, 2008
Dynamics of brane-world models of dark energy is reviewed. We demonstrate that simple dark energy brane models can be represented as 2-dimensional dynamical systems of a Newtonian type. Hence a fictitious particle moving in a potential well characterizes

Nonlinear Wave Structures, Multistability, and Chaotic Behavior of Quantum Dust-Acoustic Shocks in Dusty Plasma with Size Distribution Effects

open access: yesMathematics
This paper presents a detailed study of the (3+1)-dimensional Zakharov–Kuznetsov–Burgers equation to investigate shock-wave phenomena in dusty plasmas with quantum effects.

Acceleration of the Universe driven by the Casimir force [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We investigate an evolutional scenario of the FRW universe with the Casimir energy scaling like $(-)(1+z)^4$. The Casimir effect is used to explain the vacuum energy differences (its value measured from astrophysics is so small compared to value obtained

Light‐Induced Entropy for Secure Vision

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work realized a ternary true random number generator by exploiting stochastic traps emerging within multiple junction interfaces, and quantitatively validated the generation of high‐quality random numbers. Furthermore, it successfully demonstrated diverse applications, including AI‐resilient image security, thereby providing a valuable guide for ...

Kinetic Model of Translational Autoregulation

open access: yes, 2018
We investigate dynamics of a kinetic model of inhibitory autoregulation as exemplified when a protein inhibits its own production by interfering with its messenger RNA, known in molecular biology as translational autoregulation.

Bifurcations of global reinjection orbits near a saddle-node Hopf bifurcation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
The saddle-node Hopf bifurcation (SNH) is a generic codimension-two bifurcation of equilibria of vector fields in dimension at least three. It has been identified as an organizing centre in numerous vector field models arising in applications.

Formation Control of Multi‐Agent System with Local Interaction and Artificial Potential Field

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This article proposes a local interaction‐based formation control method for Multi‐Agent system, integrating consensus and leader‐follower strategies with a stress response mechanism—artificial potential field to reduce communication overhead and enable obstacle avoidance. Experimental results on triangular, square, and hexagonal formations confirm its

Infinite Kinematic Self-Similarity and Perfect Fluid Spacetimes

open access: yes, 2001
Perfect fluid spacetimes admitting a kinematic self-similarity of infinite type are investigated. In the case of plane, spherically or hyperbolically symmetric space-times the field equations reduce to a system of autonomous ordinary differential ...

Consensus Formation and Change are Enhanced by Neutrality

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Neutral agents are shown to enhance both the formation and overturning of consensus in collective decision‐making. A general mathematical model and experiments with locusts and humans reveal that neutrality enables robust consensus via simple interactions and accelerates consensus change by reducing effective population size.
