Conventional unstable electron transport layers (ETLs) limit self‐powered organic sensors. This work resolves this by developing a n‐type self‐assembled monolayer (SAM), “3‐PAPh”. This SAM forms a chemically stable and structurally ordered interface that fundamentally suppresses defect formation.

Monitoring, analyzing, and modeling global climate [PDF]
Diabatic heating rate estimates as residuals of the dry thermodynamic equation were generated for May 1, 1985 to December 1989 in pentad resolution. Published results show moderate correlations (approx.

Organic farming practices and climate change adaptation [PDF]
The need to adapt to climate change is one of the main challenges facing the future of agriculture. Even if strong and effective mitigation measures were taken, even if greenhouse gas emissions dropped to zero immediately, the climate would continue to ...

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with metals have been recognized as versatile platforms for photocatalytic CO2 reduction (CO2PRR). Herein, an overview of metal integration strategies for COFs is systematically summarized. Regulatory mechanisms and structure–activity relationships between metal integration and COF‐based CO2PRR are emphasized.

Climate change in the European Union [PDF]
It is now universally accepted that climate change is happening and that is caused by man’s behaviour. Global warming is accelerating and the average temperature is likely to rise up to 4 degrees by the end of this century if nothing is done.

Cost-benefit analysis of climate change – A methodological overview of recent studies [PDF]
Global warming16 has already begun. Climate change has become a self-propelling and self-reinforcing process as a result of the externality associated with greenhouse- gas (GHG) emissions.

Nano‐ and Micro‐Sized Solid Materials Used as Antiviral Agents
Due to the rise of viral infections in humans and possible viral outbreaks, the use of nano‐ or micro‐sized materials as antiviral agents is rapidly increasing. This review explores their antiviral properties against RNA and DNA viruses, either as a prevention or a treatment tool, by delving into their mechanisms of action and how to properly assess ...

Global Climate Protection: Immediate Action Will Avert High Costs [PDF]
The anthropogenic climate change will persist if the global volume of greenhousegas emissions will not be reduced significantly. A dangerous and irreversibleclimate change will occur if atmospheric concentrations of greenhousegases in the year 2100 ...

A polyelectrolyte complex‐based sorbent is produced by scalable, environmentally benign aqueous phase inversion. Its porous, LiCl‐ and GO‐integrated architecture enables hourly adsorption−desorption cycles at low relative humidity (RH < 30%). A large‐scale prototype achieves multicyclic, solar‐driven atmospheric water harvesting of 1.37 L kg−1 day−1 ...
