Scandium (Sc)‐doped AlCoCrFeMo HEA coatings are fabricated via flame spraying with 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 wt% Sc additions. Among these, the HEA‐Sc0.3 coating exhibits the highest corrosion resistance, indicated by a more positive corrosion potential and lower current density.

Rethinking Economic Growth in a Globalizing World: An Economic Geography Lens* [PDF]
Abstract: This paper argues that cumulative causation processes are fundamental to understanding growth and development. Such processes derive from spatially concentrated increasing returns to scale including thick market effects, knowledge spillovers, sectoral and urban clustering, and self‐reinforcing improvements in physical and social ...

Experiments and thermophysical simulations were conducted to investigate the electron beam powder bed fusion electron beam (PBF‐EB/M) process for the γ′‐strengthened nickel‐based superalloy Inconel 738LC. The results demonstrate the impact of process‐induced microstructural variations on high‐temperature mechanical behavior, providing a basis for ...

The Impact of Global Conflicts on Economic Growth
Abstract The intricate relationship between global conflicts and economic growth has remained a pressing concern in both academic and policy-making circles. In a world increasingly affected by geopolitical tensions, territorial disputes, terrorism, trade wars, and ideological clashes, it is crucial to examine how such conflicts shape the economic ...

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Globalization and economic growth in Iran
In this paper, balance relation and long term of four variables: Gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate, growth rate of export of goods and services, the ratio of investment to GDP and population growth rate, and also their influences on each other in Iran for years 1971 to 2008 have been analyzed.

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron
