European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Global existence and asymptotic behavior for a nonlinear degenerate SIS model [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2013
In this paper we investigate the global existence and asymptotic behavior of a reaction diffusion system with degenerate diffusion arising in the modeling and the spatial spread of an epidemic disease.

Real‐World Pediatric Blinatumomab Administration: Access to Outpatient Care Delivery and Impact of a Hospital‐Dispensed Model

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Blinatumomab has been shown to be highly effective for patients with pediatric B‐ALL and has recently become standard of care therapy. Due to its past use in the clinical trial setting, there is limited information available about real‐world administration.

Existence and decay of finite energy solutions for semilinear dissipative wave equations in time-dependent domains [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2020
We consider the initial-boundary value problem for semilinear dissipative wave equations in noncylindrical domain \(\bigcup_{0\leq t \lt\infty} \Omega(t)\times\{t\} \subset \mathbb{R}^N\times \mathbb{R}\). We are interested in finite energy solution.

ON THE GLOBAL EXISTENCE OF TIME [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics D, 2009
The global existence of time is often taken for granted but should instead be considered for investigation. Using the tools of global Lorentzian geometry the author shows that, under physically reasonable conditions, the impossibility of finding a global time implies the singularity of space–time.

Survival Outcomes and Complications Among Canadian Children With Retinoblastoma: A Population‐Based Report From CYP‐C

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Retinoblastoma (RB) is the most common pediatric ocular cancer, yet population‐based data on survival and risk factors remain limited. This study aimed to describe survival in a large national RB cohort and identify predictors of death and complications.

Global Existence for Nonlinear Diffusion Equations

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1995
The Dirichlet problem for degenerate reaction-diffusion-convection equations in space-dimension one is considered. Global existence of nonnegative solutions is studied. The role of convection in yielding global existence is analyzed in the special case when none of the three nonlinearities depends explicitly on \(x\) and \(t\).

Existence of Compactly Supported Global Minimisers for the Interaction Energy

open access: yes, 2015
The existence of compactly supported global minimisers for continuum models of particles interacting through a potential is shown under almost optimal hypotheses.

Personalized Selumetinib Dosing in Pediatric Neurofibromatosis Type 1: Insights From a Pilot Therapeutic Drug Monitoring Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate selumetinib exposure using therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) in pediatric patients with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and plexiform neurofibromas (PN), assess interpatient pharmacokinetic variability, and explore the relationship between drug exposure, clinical response, and adverse effects.

Sharp conditions of global existence for nonlinear Schrödinger equation with a harmonic potential

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis, 2019
The Cauchy problem of nonlinear Schrödinger equation with a harmonic potential for describing the attractive Bose-Einstein condensate under the magnetic trap is considered. We give some sufficient conditions of global existence and finite time blow up of
