Women's Financial Inclusion in Africa [PDF]
The financial exclusion of women is a global problem with 'more than 1.3 billion women in the world operating outside the formal financial system' (Demirguc-Kunt, Klapper & Singer, 2013: 2). This situation is mirrored in Africa where more than 70 percent

In this work, a magnetic core‐shell catalyst (HOF‐on‐Fe3O4/ZIF‐67) is successfully synthesized, consisting of a metal–organic framework (ZIF‐67) with magnetic Fe3O4 as the core and a porous hydrogen‐bonded organic framework (HOF) as the shell. The catalyst efficiently activated peroxymonosulfate, resulting in rapid and effective removal of water ...

This study uncovers the unexplored role of intermolecular interactions in multiphoton absorption in coordination polymers. By analyzing [Zn2tpda(DMA)2(DMF)0.3], it shows how the electronic coupling of the chromophores and confinement in the MOF enhance two‐and three‐photon absorption.

Biofabrication aims at providing innovative technologies and tools for the fabrication of tissue‐like constructs for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. By integrating multiple biofabrication technologies, such as 3D (bio) printing with fiber fabrication methods, it would be more realistic to reconstruct native tissue's ...

Global imbalances: the perspective of the Bank of England. [PDF]
In 2009, demand in the world’s major economies fell, relative to its pre-crisis trend, by around USD 2.5 trillion or 5 per cent of GDP. The financial crisis damaged virtually every country. Global imbalances helped to fuel the financial crisis. And today

Financial globalization, digital financial system and economic wealth in Africa
The study examines the joint effect of foreign direct investment (FDI) and financial inclusion on economic wealth in a digital system. By employing the dynamic system GMM for a dataset of 54 African economies over the period, 2004–2022, both the FDI and the dimensions of financial inclusion have a positive effect on economic wealth.

Fractional Skyrmion Tubes in Chiral‐Interfaced 3D Magnetic Nanowires
In chiral 3D helical magnetic nanowires, the coupling between the geometric and magnetic chirality provides a way to create topological spin states like vortex tubes. Here, it is demonstrated how the breaking of this coupling in interfaced 3D nanowires of opposite chirality leads to even more complex topological spin states, such as fractional ...
