Comparison of global geopotential models from the champ and grace missions for regional geoid modelling in Turkey [PDF]
The continuous efforts on establishment and modernization of the geodetic control in Turkey include a number of regional geoid models that have been determined since 1976. The recently released gravimetric Geoid of Turkey, TG03, is used in geodetic applications where GPS-heights need to be converted to the local vertical datum.

ANALYSIS OF ISOSTATICALLY-BALANCED CORTICAL MODELS USING MODERN GLOBAL GEOPOTENTIAL MODELS [PDF]
Abstract: The knowledge of the Earth's gravity field and its temporal variations is the main goal of the dedicated gravity field missions CHAMP, GRACE and GOCE. Since then, several global geopotential models (GGMs) have been released. This paper uses geoid heights derived from global geopotential models to analyze the cortical features of the Tandilia ...

The Accuracy Verification of Recent Global Geopotential Model based on GNSS/Levelling Data on Ground Control Points in Johor [PDF]
The external gravitational field of the Earth is mathematically represented using spherical harmonic (SH) coefficients in the global geopotential model. Hence, the appropriate global geopotential model for a region needs to determine a reference surface ...

Global geopotential models from Satellite Laser Ranging data with geophysical applications: A review [PDF]
The launch of artificial satellites (as early as in 1957), specifically the launch of the first laser tracked satellite, Beacon-B, in 1964, has provided data sets which have allowed researchers to probe the long to medium components of the gravitational ...
