Injection: The Global Spread of Abolitionism
AbstractDuring the nineteenth century, abolitionist movements developed from small, but vocal, movements in the Atlantic world to establish global networks, based on shared ideas and support for international agreements to ban the slave trade and slavery.

Cavitational Flows and Global Injectivity of Conformal Maps [PDF]
This paper treats some new mathematical aspects of the two-dimensional cavitational problem of the flow of a perfect fluid past an obstacle. Natural regularity conditions of very general type are found to ensure the global injectivity of the complex-potential and the presence of at most one zero of its derivative on the boundary of

Practical construction of globally injective parameterizations with positional constraints
Abstract We propose a novel method to compute globally injective parameterizations with arbitrary positional constraints on disk topology meshes. Central to this method is the use of a scaffold mesh that reduces the globally injective constraint to a locally flipfree condition. Hence, given an initial parameterized mesh containing flipped triangles and

Condition for injectivity of global maps for tessellation automata
In this paper, we introduce two notions of being “balanced” and being “hard.” And we prove that these notions are necessary and sufficient conditions for global maps C; → C and C → C of tessellation automata to be one to one, respectively, where CC denotes the set of all the (finite) configurations of tessellation automata.

Cambrian Carbon-Sequestration Geosystems of Canada [PDF]
Skepticism of carbon capture and storage’s (CCS) potential for curbing anthropogenic global warming continues. That doubt is fed, in part, by the failure of some CCS sites to meet injection targets because of problems with the subsurface geology.

ABSTRACT Pediatric radiation therapy presents unique challenges compared to adult treatments, including those of immobilization, potential need for sedation, and the critical importance of accurate, reproducible positioning. Additionally, heightened attention to imaging doses is necessary to minimize long‐term toxicity in survivors.

Solid Pseudopapillary Neoplasm of the Pancreas in Children and Adolescents: Expert Recommendations
ABSTRACT Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm of the pancreas (SPN) is a rare low‐grade malignant exocrine pancreatic tumor, mostly discovered during the second decade of life in females, with a very good prognosis, provided microscopically complete surgical excision is achieved.

ABSTRACT Introduction This final analysis of a multicenter, prospective postmarketing surveillance study evaluated the safety of daprodustat in patients with chronic kidney disease anemia in routine clinical practice in Japan. Methods Patients who initiated daprodustat between September 2020 and July 2022 were registered.

The Master Integral Transform with Entire Kernels
We study an integral transform—here called the Master Integral Transform—in which the kernel is an arbitrary entire function of finite order. When the nonzero Taylor coefficients of the kernel have positive Beurling–Malliavin density, we prove ...

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.
