The measurements of the global solar radiation and solar ultraviolet radiation during 2018 year

In this study, measurements of global solar radiation and ultraviolet (290-385 nm band) at ground level in Osmaniye (Turkey) during the year 2018 have been analyzed and the results are given. The global and UV measurements were conducted by using the Eppley Black and White Pyranometer and a Total Ultraviolet Radiometer, respectively.

Global PAR related to global solar radiation for central Nigeria

Abstract Measurements of global solar radiation (Rs) and global photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) were made for a period of 12 months at Ilorin, Nigeria in order to find the relationship between them. The average ratio of PAR to Rs for the year was 2.08 E MJ−1 with the dry and rainy season values of 2.02 and 2.12 E MJ−1, respectively.

Abstract Measurement of global solar radiation on a horizontal surface, for 8 years in Doha, are used to examine some of the methods of prediction of global solar radiation. Relation (3) shows a good degree of accuracy, provided the parameter K is appropriately adjusted. Equation (4) shows, generally, larger values than the actual values.
