International Journal of Solar Energy, 1989A general model for the simulation of the daily global solar radiation is introduced. The model development is based on the removal of the annual periodicity and seasonal variation of the solar radiation, through an appropriate transformation, so that the transformed data form a stationary time series (with constant mean and standard deviation).
