Modeling radiation belt radial diffusion in ULF wave fields: 1. Quantifying ULF wave power at geosynchronous orbit in observations and in global MHD model [PDF]
[1] To provide critical ULF wave field information for radial diffusion studies in the radiation belts, we quantify ULF wave power (f = 0.5–8.3 mHz) in GOES observations and magnetic field predictions from a global magnetospheric model.

Estimation of global solar radiation in Venezuela
A new relationship between sunshine duration and solar radiation was investigated through the analysis of data on monthly global solar radiation and hours of bright sunshine for eleven meteorological stations in Venezuela during the period 1964-1993. Linear regression was used to fit the Angström-Prescott equation.

Controlled syntheses of lanthanide coordination polymers based on the dihydroxybenzoquinone (DHBQ) organic linker afforded large single crystals of Ln‐DHBQ CPs (Ln = Yb, Nd). A novel structural variant of Yb‐DHBQ is identified by means of single crystal diffraction analysis.

Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...

Empirical model based on meteorological parameters to estimate the global solar radiation in Nepal
Solar radiation is the best option and cost effective energy resources of this globe. Only a few stations are there in developing and under developed countries including Nepal to monitor solar radiation and sunshine hours to generate a rational and ...

Geo-engineering using dust grains in heliotropic elliptical orbits [PDF]
This paper examines the concept of a Saturn-like Earth ring comprised of dust grains to offset global warming. A new family of non-Keplerian periodic orbits, under the effects of solar radiation pressure and the Earth’s oblateness J2 perturbation, is ...

A food‐grade cooling composite made from starch and recycled eggshell powder offers a scalable, ultra‐low‐cost solution for passive daytime radiative cooling. Easily prepared using basic kitchen tools, this material empowers communities, even in areas with limited infrastructure, to stay cooler during worsening summer heat waves.

Global Solar Radiation Transfer and Its Loss in the Atmosphere
Based on the analysis of solar radiation and meteorological parameters measured at a subtropical forest in China during 2013–2016, a new empirical model of global solar irradiance has been developed. It can calculate global solar irradiance at the ground
