Global Stability Conditions on the Plane [PDF]

open access: yesSSRN Electronic Journal, 2003
The paper considers price adjustment on the plane and derives global stability conditions for such dynamics. First, we examine the well-known Scarf Example, to obtain and analyze a global stability condition for this case. Next, for a general class of excess demand functions, a set of conditions is identified which guarantee not only convergence to ...

Landscape and flux for quantifying global stability and dynamics of game theory. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS One, 2018
Game theory has been widely applied to many areas including economics, biology and social sciences. However, it is still challenging to quantify the global stability and global dynamics of the game theory.

Global Stability of Delayed SARS-CoV-2 and HTLV-I Coinfection Models within a Host

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
The aim of the present paper is to formulate two new mathematical models to describe the co-dynamics of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and human T-cell lymphotropic virus type-I (HTLV-I) in a host.

Stability of Global Monopoles Revisited [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2000
We analyze the stability of global O(3) monopoles in the infinite cutoff (or scalar mass) limit. We obtain the perturbation equations and prove that the spherically symmetric solution is classically stable (or neutrally stable) to axially symmetric, square integrable, or power-law decay perturbations.

Dynamical Behavior of a Fractional Order Model for Within-Host SARS-CoV-2

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
The prime objective of the current study is to propose a novel mathematical framework under the fractional-order derivative, which describes the complex within-host behavior of SARS-CoV-2 by taking into account the effects of memory and carrier.

Effects of additional food availability and pulse control on the dynamics of a Holling-(p+1) type pest-natural enemy model

open access: yesElectronic Research Archive, 2023
In this paper, a novel pest-natural enemy model with additional food source and Holling-($ p $+1) type functional response is put forward for plant pest management by considering multiple food sources for predators.

Stability analysis of steel frames according to Eurocode 3 [PDF]

open access: yesBiuletyn Wojskowej Akademii Technicznej, 2019
In the paper, the qualitative and quantitative comparison of EC3 methods to verify the global stability of the structure is presented. The steel portal frame subjected to varied loads is considered.

Global Properties of Cytokine-Enhanced HIV-1 Dynamics Model with Adaptive Immunity and Distributed Delays

open access: yesComputation, 2023
In this paper, we study a model that enhances our understanding of cytokine-influenced HIV-1 infection. The impact of adaptive immune response (cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) and antibodies) and time delay on HIV-1 infection is included.

Almost Global Stochastic Stability [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We develop a method to prove almost global stability of stochastic differential equations in the sense that almost every initial point (with respect to the Lebesgue measure) is asymptotically attracted to the origin with unit probability.

The Global Stability of our Galaxy [PDF]

open access: yesSymposium - International Astronomical Union, 1985
Many mass models of our Galaxy (see e.g. Schmidt 1985 for a review) assume the disc to be nearly axisymmetric. For consistency, therefore, no such model should possess gross non-axisymmetric instabilities. However, most attribute less than half the central attraction at the Sun to bulge and halo material - a situation where bar forming instabilities ...
