A polyelectrolyte complex‐based sorbent is produced by scalable, environmentally benign aqueous phase inversion. Its porous, LiCl‐ and GO‐integrated architecture enables hourly adsorption−desorption cycles at low relative humidity (RH < 30%). A large‐scale prototype achieves multicyclic, solar‐driven atmospheric water harvesting of 1.37 L kg−1 day−1 ...

Nanothermometry in Living Cells: Physical Limits, Conceptual and Material Challenges
Heat and temperature are fundamental to life. When nanothermometers began probing regions as small as a living cell, they triggered controversial claims of large intracellular temperature gradients. We review physical constraints energy‐conservation, entropy production, thermodynamic fluctuations, and molecular dynamics.

In our previous paper “No experimental evidence for the significant anthropogenic climate change” we had a reference to this paper. Thus, we have presented a new theory: how Henry’s Law regulates the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere. This theory uses a physically perfect unit impulse response to convolve signals.

Bridging thermodynamics and metrology in non-equilibrium Quantum Thermometry [PDF]
Single-qubit thermometry presents the simplest tool to measure the temperature of thermal baths with reduced invasivity. At thermal equilibrium, the temperature uncertainty is linked to the heat capacity of the qubit, however the best precision is ...

From Bug to Feature: Harnessing Cross‐Sensitivity for Multiparametric Luminescence Sensing
Cross‐sensitivity in luminescence sensing is reframed from a limitation into a resource for multiparametric detection. Using ruby microspheres as a model system, cross‐sensitivity is quantitatively assessed and exploited through linear discriminant analysis, enabling simultaneous, correction‐free pressure and temperature sensing with a single ...

<p>The proposed applied research is based on the IR thermometer functions by introducing novel additional application improvement and fabrication in the design. In this study, the concept of the custom compact device (shape illustrates - “A Badge”) that functions as same of existing products, measures the surface temperature of a body whether ...
