There are approximately 45 cases reported in the literature; the authors report four more cases. This tumor may be associated with other paragangliomas of the head and neck, such as carotid body tumors, and may metastasize to regional lymph nodes ...

Glomus tumors are rare vascular tumors that are found most commonly in the hand. Although the tumors are benign, they can cause intense focal pain. Patients often go undiagnosed or misdiagnosed for many years because the tumors are small, usually not palpable, and have varying presentations.

We found only two cases of glomus coccygeum, also known as coccygeal body. We describe the histology and immunohistochemical findings of two glomera coccygea incidentally discovered in ...

Glomus tympanicum and glomus jugulare tumors
Otolaryngologic Clinics of North America, 2001The ideal management of most paragangliomas is complete surgical excision. This article reviews the surgical strategy for craniocervical paragangliomas.
