Abstract This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of vesicular‐arbuscular mycorrhizal (VAM) fungus Glomus etunicatum on growth, absorption, and distribution of calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), phosphorus (P), and aluminum (Al) in one Al‐tolerant and one Al‐sensitive barley cultivar.

The interactive effect of phosphorus and nitrogen on "in vitro" spore germination of Glomus etunicatum Becker & Gerdemann, root growth and mycorrhizal colonization [PDF]

In this study, the effect of the Arbuscular Mycorrhizal fungus Glomus etunicatum on the physiological growth parameters of tomato (Lycopersycium esculentum Mill) plants on the toxicity level of copper was investigated. To explain the physiological growth of these plants, some physiological growth parameters were determined in the shoots and leaves of ...

Sustainable Greenhouse Tomato Production: Benefits of Inoculation With Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi Under Low Nitrogen and Phosphorus Conditions. [PDF]
ABSTRACT The effects of overused chemical fertilizers, which threaten soil, plant, and human health, have always remained a topic of interest in theory and practice, emphasizing the judicious use of mineral nutrients. This study was aimed at reducing the harmful effects of excessive chemical fertilizer application and at exploring alternative ...

This study investigated how two different N sources used as fertilizer (NO3− or NH4+) interact with an inoculated arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungus (Glomus etunicatum) in an Andisol from southern Chile. The effect of NO3− or NH4+ on mycorrhizal and non-mycorrhizal wheat plants was measured on key root–soil interface activities: pH, acid phosphatase (P-

Contaminação do solo com antraceno e creosoto e o crescimento vegetal e a colonização micorrízica pelo Glomus etunicatum Soil contamination with anthracene and creosote: impact on plant growth and mycorrhizal colonization by Glomus etunicatum [PDF]

Eastern Joshua Tree Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi Largely Consistent Across Roots, Soils, and Seasons. [PDF]
Eastern Joshua tree associating arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi increase spore abundance and species richness after summer rains. A majority of species are shared between root and soil samples, and most taxa are present in all four seasons. Yet, few species are shared with the closely related Western Joshua tree.
