[Kinetic properties of partially purified glucosephosphate dehydrogenase of human erythrocytes].

Voprosy meditsinskoi khimii, 1977
Partially purified glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase was isolated from small amounts of human erythrocytes (15-20 ml). The Km value for glucose-6-phosphate was 35.0 +/- 3.0 micronM, the Km for NADP was 4.27 +/- 0.3 micronM. The optimal activity of the enzyme was at pH 9.0.

[Histochemistry of glucosephosphate dehydrogenase and lactate dehydrogenase of the neural cells of chick embryo].

Arkhiv anatomii, gistologii i embriologii, 1977
A high intensity of the reactions to lactate dehydrogenase and glucous-6-phosphate dehydrogenase was demonstrated histochemically in the neural anlage of the chick embryos after 15, 20, 24, 30, 44, 48 and 72 hours of incubation. At early stages of the development cranio-caudal gradient of enzymatic reactions was distinctly traced.

Changes in activity of malate dehydrogenase and glucosephosphate isomerase in serum of rats exposed chronically to inorganic mercury and its aryl and alkyl compounds

Bulletin of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology, 1977
In course of prolonged exposure [14 weeks] to various mercury compounds [MetHg - a fluid seed-dressing preparation 0,8. Phenyl and Ethyl chlorides and HgC1(2) in doses corresponding to 5% of DL(50)[3 times weekly], enhanced levels of activity of malate dehydrogenase [MDH] and glucosephosphate isomerase [PHI] in blood serum were observed.

Genetic bases for protein polymorphism in Fundulus heteroclitus (L.). I. Lactate dehydrogenase (Ldh-B), malate dehydrogenase (Mdh-A), glucosephosphate isomerase (Gpi-B), and phosphoglucomutase (Pgm-A)

Biochemical Genetics, 1978
Electrophoretic analysis has shown populations of F. heteroclitus to possess variants at four enzyme-coding loci: Ldh-B, Mdh-A, Gpi-B, and Pgm-A. Based on the phenotypic distribution in the F1 generation, each variant segregates as an autosomally inherited codominant allele.

Effect of mebendazole and praziquantel on glucosephosphate isomerase and glyceraldehydephosphate dehydrogenase in Echinococcus granulosus cyst wall harbored in mice.

Zhongguo yao li xue bao = Acta pharmacologica Sinica, 1999
To study effects of antihydatid drugs on glucosephosphate isomerase (GPI) and glyceraldehydephosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) in Echinococcus granulosus cyst wall.Mice infected with the parasite for 8-10 months were treated i.g. with mebendazole (Meb) or praziquantel (Pra).
