Strain measurements on glulam beams with holes
The starting point of this study was the situation for Norwegian engineers lacking trustworthy design rules for glulam beams with holes. The Norwegian design code for timber (NS 1999), provide design recommendations based on Johanneson’s “Shear-stress” method described above.
