Gluon condensate potentials [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1983
Abstract Attempts to represent the “gluon condensate”, of Shifman, Vainshtein and Zakharov, by a quark-antiquark potential, are critically reviewed. In particular, it is noted that the Leutwyler-Voloshin level shifts, in hydrogen-atom-like heavy quarkonia, are well reproduced by a static potential. But it is mass dependent.

Probing gluon number density with electron-dijet correlations at EIC

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2021
We propose a novel way of studying the gluon number density (the so-called Weizsäcker–Williams gluon distribution) using the planned Electron Ion Collider.

Approximate four-loop QCD corrections to the Higgs-boson production cross section

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2020
We study the soft and collinear contributions to inclusive Higgs-boson production in gluon-gluon fusion at four loops. Using recent progress for the quark and gluon form factors and Mellin moments of splitting functions, we are able to complete the soft ...

Several Effects Unexplained by QCD

open access: yesUniverse, 2018
Several new experimental discoveries in high energy proton interactions, yet unexplained by QCD, are discussed in the paper. The increase of the cross sections with increasing energy from ISR to LHC, the correlation between it and the behavior of the ...

One-loop central-emission vertex for two gluons in N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 super Yang-Mills theory

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
A necessary ingredient for extending the BFKL equation to next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic (NNLL) accuracy is the one-loop central emission vertex (CEV) for two gluons which are not strongly ordered in rapidity. Here we consider the one-loop six-gluon

Gluon fusion contribution to VHj production at hadron colliders

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2015
We study the associated production of an electroweak vector boson and the Higgs boson with a jet via gluon–gluon fusion. At the leading order, these processes occur at one-loop level.

Color Randomization of Fast Gluon-Gluon Pairs in the Quark-Gluon Plasma [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Experimental and Theoretical Physics, 2019
We study the color randomization of two-gluon states produced after splitting of a primary fast gluon in the quark-gluon plasma. We find that for the LHC conditions the color randomization of the $gg$ pairs is rather slow. At jet energies $E=100$ and $500$ GeV, for typical jet path length in the plasma in central Pb+Pb collisions, the $SU(3)$-multiplet

MUSAE: Fusion of art and technology to address challenges in food and health. [PDF]

open access: yesNutr Bull
Abstract There is an urgent need to transform our current food system to improve population health/wellbeing and planetary health. A number of challenges exist in order to achieve this. Artists, with their innate ability to use imagination to envision future needs and solve problems, represent a key group in this transformation.
