Visible GeV ALP from TeV Vector‐Like Leptons

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 73, Issue 3, March 2025.
Abstract A model is presented where a GeV axion‐like‐particle (ALP) is predicted in a large portion of the parameter space due to the presence of explicit Peccei–Quinn (PQ) symmetry‐breaking terms in an exotic leptonic sector. The latter provides a solution to the muon g−2$g-2$ anomaly, within the framework of the Linear Seesaw neutrino mechanism.

On Optimizing Resources for Real‐Time End‐to‐End Machine Learning in Heterogeneous Edges

open access: yesSoftware: Practice and Experience, Volume 55, Issue 3, Page 541-558, March 2025.
ABSTRACT Deploying end‐to‐end ML applications on edge resources becomes a viable solution to achieve performance and data regulations. With the microservice architecture, these applications can scale dynamically, improving service availability under dynamic workloads.

Higher order corrections to QCD jets: Gluon-gluon processes

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1988
Abstract We evaluate the full o(αs3) cross sections for the processes g+g→g+X and g+g→q+X, relevant for jet production at large pT at very high energies. Some phenomenological applications of our results at Sp p S and Tevatron energies are also presented.

Reconstructing the gluon

open access: yesSciPost Physics, 2018
We reconstruct the gluon spectral function in Landau gauge QCD from numerical data for the gluon propagator. The reconstruction relies on two novel ingredients: Firstly we derive analytically the low frequency asymptotics of the spectral function ...

On the Semantics and the Ontology of the Mass‐Count Distinction

open access: yesPhilosophy Compass, Volume 20, Issue 3, March 2025.
ABSTRACT The mass‐count distinction is a morpho‐syntactic distinction among nouns in English and many other languages. Tree, chair, person, group, and portion are count nouns, which come with the plural and accept numerals such as one and first; water, rice, furniture, silverware, and law enforcement are mass nouns, which lack the plural and do not ...

ηQ Meson Photoproduction in Ultrarelativistic Heavy Ion Collisions

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2017
The transverse momentum distributions for inclusive ηc,b meson described by gluon-gluon interactions from photoproduction processes in relativistic heavy ion collisions are calculated.

Gluon emission in Quark-Gluon Plasma

open access: yes, 2010
Gluon radiation is an important mechanism for parton energy loss as the parton traverses the quark gluon plasma (QGP) medium. We studied the gluon emission in QGP using AMY formalism. In the present work, we obtained gluon emission amplitude {\bf F}({\bf h},p,k) function, which is a solution of the integral equations describing gluon radiation ...
