A novel formulation of the unintegrated gluon distribution for DIS

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2022
We provide a semi-classical description of the inclusive gluon mediated Deep Inelastic Scattering cross section in a way that accounts for the leading powers in both the Regge and Bjorken limits.

Two Micron‐Size Dark Dimensions

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 73, Issue 8, August 2025.
Abstract Two extra dimensions of micron scale might simultaneously address the gauge and cosmological hierarchy problems. In this paper various observational bounds in scenarios with one and two large extra dimensions are examined, to see if they are compatible with the micron scale.

The Weighted GMD Model for multiplicity distributions

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2016
A new distribution, the Weighted GMD (WGMD) is obtained from the Generalised Multiplicity Distribution (GMD), describing charged-particle multiplicity distributions as the hadronisation products of quark and gluon branching with fluctuations in the ...

QCD evolution based evidence for the onset of gluon saturation in exclusive photo-production of vector mesons

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
We investigate photo-production of vector mesons J/Ψ and ϒ measured both at HERA and LHC, using 2 particular fits of inclusive unintegrated gluon distributions, based on non-linear Balitsky-Kovchegov evolution (Kutak-Sapeta gluon; KS) and next-to-leading

Higgs Boson Production via Gluon Fusion: Soft-Gluon Resummation including Mass Effects

open access: yes, 2015
We analyze soft and collinear gluon resummation effects at the N$^3$LL level for Standard Model Higgs boson production via gluon fusion $gg\to H$ and the neutral scalar and pseudoscalar Higgs bosons of the minimal supersymmetric extension at the N$^3$LL ...

The small $x$ behavior of the gluon structure function from total cross sections [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Within a QCD-based eikonal model with a dynamical infrared gluon mass scale we discuss how the small $x$ behavior of the gluon distribution function at moderate $Q^{2}$ is directly related to the rise of total hadronic cross sections.

Maximum Mass Limit of Generalized MIT Compact Star: A Theoretical Study of Thin Shell Dynamics and Gravitational Lensing

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 73, Issue 8, August 2025.
Abstract In this study, the properties, equilibrium, and stability of compact objects within the framework of teleparallel gravity with the generalized MIT bag model are investigated. By incorporating the modified field equations, the influence of the generalized bag constant on the structure and physical characteristics of quark stars and neutron ...

On propagators and vertices of Landau gauge Yang-Mills theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We calculate the three-point functions of pure Landau gauge QCD and investigate their influence on the propagators. As expected, the ghost-gluon vertex leads only to minor modifications, while the three-gluon vertex has a sizeable impact on the mid ...

Lattice Gluon Propagator in the Landau Gauge: A Study Using Anisotropic Lattices

open access: yes, 2008
Lattice gluon propagators are studied using tadpole and Symanzik improved gauge action in Landau gauge. The study is performed using anisotropic lattices with asymmetric volumes. The Landau gauge dressing function for the gluon propagator measured on the

Generation of Electric Current by Magnetic Field at the Boundary: Quantum Scale Anomaly Versus Semiclassical Meissner Current Outside of the Conformal Limit

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, Volume 4, Issue 7, July 2025.
The paper discusses the role of scale anomaly in generating edge electric currents via the scale magnetic effect in scalar electrodynamics. Although the boundary electric current is much weaker than the Meissner current induced in superconducting materials, the scale anomaly can enhance conductivity near the boundary of the material.
