We examined the influence of chronic adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) treatment on the number of Ki-67-positive cells in the dentate gyrus of the hippocampus in rats. ACTH treatment for 14 days decreased the number of such cells.

Abstract After debridement and before dressing a wound with maggots of calliphorid flies, one frequently performed step is the application of antiseptics to the prepared wound bed. However, the concomitant application of antiseptic agents during maggot therapy is regarded controversial as antiseptics may interfere with maggots' viability.

A nano‐gene vector PEI‐P123‐R13 was synthesized by cross‐linking low molecular weight PEI with P123 and further coupling bifunctional peptide R13 to the polymer for targeting tumor and increasing cellular uptake. The binding assessment of R13 to αvβ3 positive cells was performed by HRP labeling.
