PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.

Rapid analytical determination of glutaraldehyde concentrations [PDF]
Technique utilizes the iodimetric procedure which adds unknown excess of bisulfite to glutaraldehyde /GA/ then titrates unreacted bisulfite with standard iodine isotope to determine GA concentrations.

ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

Fusion of isolated myoblast plasma membranes [PDF]
Fusion of plasma membranes isolated from myoblasts grown in culture has been investigated. 1. 1. Membrane fusion was specifically dependent on Ca2+ at physiological concentrations. However, at higher concentrations of cations, fusion could be triggered

Effect of glutaraldehyde based cross-linking on the viscoelasticity of mitral valve basal chordae tendineae [PDF]
Background Mitral valve failure can require repair or replacement. Replacement bioprosthetic valves are treated with glutaraldehyde prior to implantation.
