Construction and validation of nomogram prediction model for ketoacidosis in elderly diabetic patients based on baseline data and glycolipid metabolism

open access: yesJournal of Diabetes Investigation, EarlyView.
This study identifies risk factors for DKA in elderly diabetics and develops a predictive nomogram model. Key factors include age, diabetes duration, FBG, HbA1c, and lipid levels. The model demonstrated strong predictive performance with high AUC values, indicating its clinical utility.

Liver function effects of SGLT2 inhibitor and GLP‐1 receptor agonist combination treatment in patients with type 2 diabetes (post hoc analysis of RECAP study)

open access: yesJournal of Diabetes Investigation, EarlyView.
The combination treatment of SGLT2 inhibitor and GLP‐1 receptor agonist significantly improved liver function markers. This combination treatment also improved the FIB‐4 index category in patients with the baseline FIB‐4 index ≥1.3. ABSTRACT Aim The favor effect on liver disease by odium‐glucose cotransporter inhibitor (SGLT2i) and GLP‐1 receptor ...
