Biomass‐Derived Carbon Photocatalysts for Organic Pollutant Degradation: Strategies and Perspectives
Recent advances in biomass‐derived carbon photocatalysts are highlighted, focusing on synthesis, surface engineering, and mechanisms such as ROS generation and band‐gap tuning. Heteroatom doping, heterojunctions, and hybrid architectures boost visible‐light activity, while scalability and stability challenges are addressed for practical environmental ...

Integrating early spring‐planted barley or oat for Palmer amaranth management in soybean
Abstract Fall‐planted cover crops (CCs) are widely used for weed suppression, but CC establishment challenges after fall harvest in temperate regions necessitate alternative approaches. The objectives of this study were to evaluate the integrated effect of spring‐planted barley or oat CC and herbicide programs for CC biomass production, Palmer amaranth

Good nutrition in pregnancy and early life plays a key role in shaping the offspring gut microbiota, which supports healthy growth, immune maturation, and neurodevelopment. Poor maternal and early‐life diets can disrupt this process, increasing the risk of obesity, undernutrition, and disease later in life.

Response of Asiatic dayflower (Commelina communis L.) to glyphosate and alternatives in soybean
Greenhouse experiments were conducted to evaluate Asiatic dayflower ( Commelina communis L.) tolerance to glyphosate. Glyphosate rates and growth stages of Asiatic dayflower were evaluated. Shikimate accumulation in Asiatic dayflower, glyphosate resistant (GR) and non-GR maize and soybean cultivars was estimated.
