Wire length effect on GMI in Co70.3Fe3.7B10SI13Cr3 amorphous class-coated microwires

open access: yes, 2010
The sample length dependence of giant magnetoimpedance (GMI) in Co70.3Fe3.7B10Si13Cr3 amorphous glass-coated microwires has been studied experimentally and theoretically in the frequency range of 1–10 MHz.

Why Have CEO Pay Levels Become Less Diverse?

open access: yesThe Journal of Finance, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper documents a new stylized fact: the cross‐sectional variation in CEO pay levels has declined precipitously in recent years. We offer one explanation for this decline, namely, firms are increasingly benchmarking CEO compensation to industry peers closest in size, thereby creating pay clusters.

Muscular Fitness Components in Adults With Type 1 Diabetes: A Cross‐Sectional Study

open access: yesDiabetes/Metabolism Research and Reviews, Volume 42, Issue 5, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Aims We aimed to determine whether muscular fitness, focussing on power‐related components, is reduced in adults with type 1 diabetes (T1D) compared with the group without T1D. Methods Adults with T1D and healthy controls were enroled in the study.

Associations of GA and GMI/GA Ratio With All‐Cause Mortality in Well‐Controlled Type 2 Diabetes Defined by Continuous Glucose Monitoring

open access: yesDiabetes/Metabolism Research and Reviews, Volume 42, Issue 5, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Aims There is uncertainty whether traditional glycemic metrics remain associated with long‐term outcomes among patients with type 2 diabetes who achieve recommended continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) targets. This study was aimed to investigate the association of glycated albumin (GA) and ratio of glucose management indicator to GA (GMI/GA ...

Sensitivity and Hamming Graphs

open access: yesJournal of Graph Theory, Volume 112, Issue 3, Page 296-305, July 2026.
ABSTRACT For any m ≥ 3 we show that the Hamming graph H ( n , m ) admits an imbalanced partition into m sets, each inducing a subgraph of low maximum degree. This improves previous results by Tandya and by Potechin and Tsang, and disproves the Strong m‐ary Sensitivity Conjecture of Asensio, García‐Marco, and Knauer.

High-Sensitivity Magnetic Sensors Based on GMI Microwire-SAW IDT Design

open access: yes, 2019
This work presents a design approach for a highly sensitive, miniaturized magnetic sensor. The design makes use of GMI microwires and a multi-electrode SAW IDT.

Confessions of a Poverty Researcher: My Journey Through the Foothills of Scholarship

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Social Issues, Volume 61, Issue 2, Page 236-246, June 2026.
ABSTRACT This paper describes the key events, experiences and ideas that influenced the author's career as a poverty researcher. He describes how his early disillusion with economics was replaced by a spark of interest in social issues and how his migration from the UK to Australia in the mid‐1970s provided the impetus to begin what became a lifetime ...

Influence of Fe doping and FeNi-layer thickness on the magnetic properties and GMI effect of electrodeposited Ni100-xFex/Cu (x = 0–95) wires

open access: yes, 2008
A systematic study has been performed by the influence of Fe doping and FeNi-layer thickness on the giant magnetoimpedance (GMI) effect of electrodeposited Ni100-xFex/Cu (x = 0–95) composite wires.
